"Neve 2254 Compressor
2 x 2254 Mono Compressor Limiters, Mounted In rack, With Stereo Link Switch, With External PSU, Just Serviced.This is a genuine reluctant sale for one of my favorite compressors. It is the original 2254 which I believe dates back to 1969, and was before the later A and E versions of the 2254.
It has a great feature in that it has a De-Esser that the later models didn't have. It works really well as it removes sibilant sounds from vocals etc without messing up the overall tone or sound like other De-Essers I have heard.
The unit is in good condition, and I just had it serviced by a top tech in London to ensure it is working to spec, and it does sound great."

"Up for sale is a DBX 162 VU Vintage Compressor Limiter.
This unit is in good condition for it's age, and works perfectly. This unit has had XLR connections installed, nice upgrade, and the signal capacitors were professionally replace about a year ago, so it's in tip top shape.
The DBX 162 VU is the stereo version of the famous DBX 160 VU. The 162/160 VU line is considered the holy grail of drum and bass compression. They have the perfect attack and release times for drums and bass, and really give you great punchy drums.
The new 160A/XT line switched to using IC Op Amps, as opposed to this unit, the 162/160 VU line, which used discrete VCA's, which everyone agrees sound better."
