"Arguably Neve’s Holy Grail of compressors, the Neve 2254/E is the most valued model of all the 2254 series.
This pair comes in the Brent Averill Enterprises (BAE) faceplate rack with external 240V PSU (which can be modified to 110V or other) and features Brent Averill’s Stereo Link feature and fast release modification (100ms) making this unit an ideal choice for the mixbuss, as well as individual sound sources.
The compressors have just been fully serviced and this pair of 2254/E’s are as good as it gets –
they are in beautiful condition and perfect working order.
I purchased these units directly from Brent Averill in Los Angeles and they have only been used in my smoke-free,
private home studio.
Again, these are the desirable 2254/E compressors (significantly preferred over the 2254/A).
