"Neve 2254 Compressor
2 x 2254 Mono Compressor Limiters, Mounted In rack, With Stereo Link Switch, With External PSU, Just Serviced.This is a genuine reluctant sale for one of my favorite compressors. It is the original 2254 which I believe dates back to 1969, and was before the later A and E versions of the 2254.
It has a great feature in that it has a De-Esser that the later models didn't have. It works really well as it removes sibilant sounds from vocals etc without messing up the overall tone or sound like other De-Essers I have heard.
The unit is in good condition, and I just had it serviced by a top tech in London to ensure it is working to spec, and it does sound great."

This pair comes in the Brent Averill Enterprises (BAE) faceplate rack with external 240V PSU (which can be modified to 110V or other) and features Brent Averill’s Stereo Link feature and fast release modification (100ms) making this unit an ideal choice for the mixbuss, as well as individual sound sources.
The compressors have just been fully serviced and this pair of 2254/E’s are as good as it gets –
they are in beautiful condition and perfect working order.
I purchased these units directly from Brent Averill in Los Angeles and they have only been used in my smoke-free,
private home studio.
