"AMEK TAC MAGNUM 36 channel recording console located in Nashville, TN. Manufactured in 1992. Was used on Music Row throughout the 90s then moved to Blackbeard Studio in Smyrna and now it is in a recording space in south nashville. All channels work, as do all the meters and LEDs. Some custom wiring has been done to add a patchbay and 8 XLR inputs. A couple of faders are scratchy and need to be cleaned. Sounds pretty right on for most rock records. the Mic Pres and EQs on each channel rival units that cost thousands of dollars...and there's 36 of them. the shelf on top was custom built to hold monitors and is easily removed. Pictured on it is the 2u rackmount power supply (with a really long power cable) and manual including schematics. Asking $3300. "

Up for sale is a AMEK / NEVE BC3 imported to north america from Europe. To my understanding it was originally desiged for BBC in the UK and when retired went to a provate studio.
I've used this console for the last 5 years and it seriously sounds amazing. Everything from the pre's (which are designed by Rupert Neve) to the analog summing. Board shows signs
of cosmetic wear. Image pot on channel 14 is a bit bend and could be replaced, it still works however..There's a few minor ticks in it but nothing that effects the overall operation of the console.
Some of the faders are a bit sticky but you can prolly clean them out and they should be fine. The person who used this console before me must have been busy, cause alot of the dB marking by
the faders are worm off pretty bad, I was gonna fix them but there was really no point becuase you can still see them there just vaugue. Originally this console was purchased for around 20k. For all you DAW users out there this is the perfect front end it's really "warm" if i can use that term, and has a very nice roll of on the high end. It has 12 mono channels w/phantom power, and 12 stereo line inputs for mixdown. If you just do a quick google search you'll find out how amazing these boards really are. Apperently Rupert Neve only did a few designs for AMEk back in the day and i beleive this was one of the better. I have read the preamps
are very similar to that of a AMEK 9098 console. according to some is the greatest console ever made. The reason i'm selling is cause i really don;t have a good home for it. I closed
down my private studio ad it has been sitting in storage in my basement ever since. Comes with 24 track board, 4 aux, 4 buss, a bunch of other options, talkback you name it, power supply
and a 4 VU meter bridge."

This console is fitted with 40 input modules, 4 stereo returns (for total of 128 inputs on mixdown), PC based Supertrue Automation, power supplies and DC cables. The PC and a photocopy of the manual is included
This console does not have built in patchbay – it was fitted with custom remote patchbay which was reused.
We can supply a complete patchbay for fee. Alternatively we will include 6 bantam, 1RU 96 points Mousses & Mitchel patch panels free of charge.
The console was installed in major corporate facility, it was properly maintained and it had a very little use.

"British Amek/TAC Matchless 36x24x8x2 Recording Console
This analog console was in full use until 4 years ago. It has been in storage since then. This is an amazing piece of equipment and many great ablums have been recorded in it, It is fully functional although I believe it should have some technical check up before professionally use again. It has three broken knobs but all of the functions work, the pieces would need replacement. Besides this, the console is in immaculate state and it is ready to be used again.
