"This listing is for a Soundcraft 600 Recording Console. It is in amazing condition. Everything is working as it should. It has 32 Channels, 8 Subgroups, Patchbay. The console comes with a heavy duty stand, power suppy, and all the cabling for the patch bay. Tape in/outs are terminated to DB25, 1 Tie line snake has XLR(M/F), the other two tie line snakes have no termination. We've gotten some great mixes out of this board. The mic pres sound very good... lots of flavor. Drums sound very punchy. Local Pickup only. The console is located in Kansas City, MO"

"This a stupidly clean console purchased new from Reliable Music in Charlotte, NC in the early 80's. It is a Soundcraft 600, made in England, with a TT patch bay. The price on the original Reliable brochure was 14,00.00 and some change, and I'm not sure if that included the TT patch bay or not. It was used in a major college's radio station, a smoke free environment until 8 years ago, when I purchased it, and it's been in a smoke free environment with me as well! I had it serviced last fall with Rob Preston, RFI Audio in Charlotte. Works and sounds incredible.
The board has 16 mono channels and 8 stereo channels, all balanced. Every thing is accessible through the balanced TG patch bays. There are 16 monitor channels, 6 auxes and 8 busses. Connectors in the back are Elco connectors for running to tape machines, computer, outboard effects to tie into the FX sends and returns in the patch bays, etc. I currently have it set up and hooked to my old Tascam DA-38's, so you can hear it and play with it when you come to pick it up, as I will not ship this. Included with the console are the original binder/manual, a box of extra TT patch bay cards, ribbon connectors, original dust cover (which has kept the board near pristine) and a few extra parts. There are no legs.
I had the board and power supply serviced last year, and the 16 mono channels cleaned. Channels 15 and 16 have had an upgrade/mod from Audio Upgrades in CA- when the channels were reinstalled channel 6 did not work. Easy enough to get serviced, but I never used that many channels so didn't sweat it, but to the best of my knowledge channel 16 is the only issue with this mixer, and I have taken this into account when pricing, AND I can refer you to good service people. I've been told most likely it's a bad electrolytic.
I do have a good bit of cabling available that is not included in this auction. Elco to 25 pin D Subs, TT cables, etc. I'm into the console for a lot more than I'm asking for it, which is no ones problem but my own, but I'm still using it and need the cables. If it sells I have other folks wanting the cables, but I'll offer them to the high bidder first. They won'y be cheap, and you may already be hooked up cable wise. I'll leave it hooked up at my home, and the buyer will be welcome to swing by and run some tape and make sure everything works to your satisfaction. And if you need a couple three DA-38's, that's beautiful as well."
