"This listing is for a vintage Neumann U47 tube microphone. Aside from some black paint being worn from the Neumann badge, it is in superb cosmetic condition and sounds amazing. It is equipped with a K47 capsule and Telefunken VF14M tube that provides a warm, robust sound. Includes original Neumann PSU, swivel mount cable and mic box. Please note, the swivel cable can be difficult to screw in due to the thread stripping, but it does insert and holds its place, and functions fine otherwise."

I'm selling my AKG C-24 vintage stereo tube microphone. I recently purchased it but for various reasons I can't keep it. If you are looking at this auction then you know what it is.
The mic itself is all original with the exception of the connector which has been upgraded to fit the newer Drefahl Audio power supply (www.drefahl.com).
This is an exceptionally fine sounding microphone. Both capsules sound well balanced against each other and provides excellent stereo imaging, wether for XY, MS or Blumlein micing. Using the capsules one by one they sound very similar to a great C-12, and are great for most things - piano, strings, acoustic guitars, room, OH, and it's of course phenomenal for vocals. The mic has just been serviced by Andreas Grosser.
The mic is located in my studio in NYC and can be inspected and auditioned here. Local pickup is available. I will ship worldwide. $50 flat rate for UPS Ground shipping to lower 48, all other locations contact me for shipping quotes.
FS: Neumann U47 & Wagner U47w Condenser Mic Set U-47
This auction is for 2 mics: one vintage Neumann U-47 and one Wagner U47. The vintage is an original long body, (no mods) and has been in 1 owner's possession for the last 20 some years. It has a K47 capsule and brand new VF-14M tube installed by Stephen Paul Audio. Aside from some tape residue and small inscription, you can see the cosmetic condition is excellent for a mic of this age. I should also mention that the threading on the end of the mic and on the power supply are a bit stripped (as you can see in the last picture). This shouldn't be a problem though, as the mic still performs as it should. Item will ship with original Neumann power supply, cables, and super sturdy Pelican case.
The Wagner is a mint condition long body, and is original also. It has the M7 capsule and includes the custom cherrywood case, Wagner PSU, cables, shock mount and original locking case. Local bidders are welcome to come by my studio and check it out in person.
I'm selling this as a set: two U47 mics, complete with two PSU's, cables and cases... so please don't ask to separate.
