API 500 Rack FULLY LOADED 512B, 550B & 560B $12,000

"Used MINT CONDITION API 500VPR Rack fully loaded with the following:

4 - API 512B Mic Pre's
4 - API 550B EQs
2 - API 560B EQs

All the modules work perfectly and are totally clean. On one of the 560B's, the LED light when you press the EQ in button does not light up. It never ever worked since I bought it, but it does work and engage the EQ.

The rack has a phantom power switch on it that works but you can just engage the phantom power right from the pre's as well. It also has a power switch for the entire rack. It takes a standard IEC cable (supplied). There is no paperwork with the unit, I dont think I even got it with paperwork when I purchased it.

I hate to part ways with this unit because it does sound AMAZING, especially on drums... It works for anything, but I favored these on drums. I am selling it because I need to purchase an additional Protools HD3 mobile rig.

512B's usually sell for $1200, the 512C is more common now a days and they dont sound as good which makes the Bs so much more sought after. 550B sell for $1200 as well, they are just like the 550A but gives an additional band and more selectable frequencies. The 560B, this is the EQ with the "Blue" slider. These sell for $1000. The 500VPR sell for $900. All these modules are the best of API 500 series. Thats why I put these in the rack. In total this combined would cost over $12,500 dollars. I spent $17,000 when I purchased this new. "
