This has the famous Melville 2520 opamp, the vintage 2503 API output transformer and an ultra clean and reliable Cinemag input transformer, this thing growls!!!
6x Brent Averill API 312 Mic Preamp w/ Rack Lunchbox $4,800
We have a set of six Brent Averill API 312 microphone preamps for sale!
Included in this auction are:
-one Brent Averill rack (that powers and provides ins/outs for each of the six channels) w/ power supply
-six Brent Averill 312 preamps; five are completely original with no repairs or modifications. The original 2520 opamp in the fifth preamp burnt out and was replaced by Avedis Audio with an Avedis Audio 1122 opamp.
Aside from the above mentioned repair, there are no other existing mods or repairs.
One of the two screws that hold the fifth module in place is missing (the module still stays in place well).
The units show very mild wear from normal use; they still look fantastic and there are no cosmetic or structural issues to speak of.
