Up for grabs offered here is a vintage Neumann mixer/console with original PSU (serial number 001). The mixer was tested and works fine. It's over 45 years old however, so I can't give you any warranty. See detailed pictures below to verify.The mixer is located in central Europe, so shipping to the USA is not an option - only for parts (read below). See shipping rates below for EU bidders as well.
Please, note that the eight EQs modules pictured have already been sold separately and are no longer part of this auction! There is still eight fantastic Neumann preamps (PV46) present (which could be racked by a pro technician), an many other parts, which can be useful, including summing section with limiters and exceptional vintage Neumann parts, faders, etc. The PSU is build like a tank. You will not find anything like this today. There is some patching cables included (all original). See pictures to verify."

"Several sources have cited Cinema Engineering as having a similar passive graphic eq as the Altec 9062/Langevin 252. I have never seen a reference or catalog listing of such a device in Cinema Engineering literature, although I would love to know about it if anyone has concrete recollections or literature on such a piece. Cinema did produce the 7080 6-band graphic eq, which is an active (feedback) design. The slider/attenuators are meant to mount in the console with the remote bank of LC pairs and 3 tube stages racked out of the way (all 6 ru's of it), in the back of the console. In this picture, from an eBay auction a while back (useless as it's missing the rest of the active components), you can see the big jones connector required for all the individual connections. I have a feeling that this Cinema reference may come from the fact that Altec also made a 6-band graphic eq, the 9073A (I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Langevin version as well, but I haven't come across one), which is identical in design to the 9062. The 6-band Altec was designated for "motion picture recording and dialogue" while the 7-band for "music recording." The frequency bands of the 9073 are almost identical to the Cinema 7080 despite differences in implementation: 64, 160, 400, 1000, 2500, 6300hz. The only discrepancy is the Cinema's first band, which is 63hz."

" 24 channels of SSL mic preamps SL615E in a 3U rack. There are 12 SL615E Dual microphone amplifier cassettes included with metering. All of the mic preamps have all been tested. There are terminal strips on the back of the rack for Inputs and Outputs. This rack has BICC connectors on it but they could be easily modified for XLR, TRS connectors, or wired to a patchbay. No power supply is included. The rack needs +18volts, -18volts and +48volts for phantom power. This is a great opportunity to have 24 high quality SSL mic preamps. Copy of the schematic included. Also selling individual SL615E modules. "
