Classic, discrete 3 band EQ/Pre, with hi pass filter. Fat 'Neve' low end, with the sensible midrange points and sweet hi end. Top end is 10K instead of 12k on a 1073 and lo/mids freq's are just different enough to those of a 1073, to make them a nice complement to each other.
Two units pre-loaded in a Boutique Audio and Design rack, with power supply. We purchased these units from Vintage King a few years back, fully serviced, 100% operational both electronically and cosmetically (and they still are). From a proaudio dealer units in this condition with the power supply would run you $8000.
The Neve 1066 and the Neve 1073 both have the same mic preamp section. The only difference between these two units is the EQ. The 1066 is part of recording history!!!
* High-pass filter points at 45, 70, 160, 360 Hz
* Low EQ points: 35, 60, 100 220 Hz
* Mid EQ points: 700 Hz, 1.2, 2.4, 3.6, 7 KHz
* Mic input attenuation from +10 to -80 dB in 5 dB increments

Here I offer a rack of Neve 1272 preamps including 4 of them with an extra gain stage, and 2 'faster' single gain stage modules.
The picture shows the rack loaded with 6 modules but I will also include 2 x 1272 modules that you will have to convert yourself for spaces 7 and 8.
This rack was built by Blakeyboy UK and sounds simply awesome. The single gain stage modules are great for fast attack situations such as snare or hats. Each channel has +48v individually switchable.
