"Stereo pair vintage Telefunken V672 preamps
Calibrated and fully recapped.
All electrolytic and tantalum capacitors were replaced.
Perfect working condition, and good to go for another 20 years.The pair was measured and passed a listening test for stereo use: We ran a mix through them to check consistency.
This is the desirable first version of the V672.
Fully discrete design from the late 60s.
Built around one input transformer by Haufe and two original Telefunken double chamber output transformers.
Up to 4(!) independent balanced outputs per module!Super smooth tone with a lovely xformer coloration.
The V672 can easily be set up for variable input impedance.
Up to 60dB of clean gain.
Alternative uses: Summing amp, MS-Decoder etc, line driver etc.Power requirement: 24V DC.
Mating 31pin connectors are included. "

This is a matched pair of super high quality mic preamps from the german manufacturer Telefunken named V672 . Other companies were also building these units: Siemens V272 TAB V372 Neumann V472 LAWO 972 etc. It is the solid state successor of the legendary V72 / V76 tube preamp, which is well known from the Beatles Pink Floyd and others.
