" OTARI MX-70 16 TRACK Reel to Reel recorder. Used. Uses 1" Tape.
This machine is in great shape. Everything works. Sounds great! Heads have been relaped and have about 70% life left. Relap report included. This unit has been well maintained by Soren Wittrup of CS electronics who is the regional Otari Tech. Work done: Power supply caps replaced, all relays replaced. Certain critical caps on output cards replaced. Capstan reconditioned. New Capstan wheel. Output amps are a mix of new and original(about half and half) All Channels and remote work. Aligned and Bias to 456 tape"
