The machine is in great condition
I have no idea how many hours are on the heads
It is a 24 track head stack, and does not come with a 16 track stack
I only needed 16 tracks on the record i just recorded with it, so I used tracks 5 - 21 [i wasn't sure and didn't have time to findout if they needed relaping}
This is a 1976 MCI which means it needs a lot of tinkering with.
I did all the work to get it ready for my session with a tech in Nashville via scype. {Stephen Sadler great guy}

I'm selling it AS IS because it will need some work {MCIs All Ways Do}
But that work is... setting proper voltages and tracking down cold solder joints and such.
All major parts are in great condition
{transport, transport power supply, audio cards, audio power supply}
The remote works perfect.

If your looking for a machine that arrives and you hit record and go. This is not the machine for you.
If you want a machine that sounds amazing just passing audio through its transformers,
and with a little work you get to record at +6 to tape, 30 or 15 ips
