ITAM 16 TRACK ANALOG RECORDER W/CASE EXTREMELY RARE

This is a very rare Itam 1610 16 track audio recorder. It uses 1" wide tape that I understand to be still available. I have no way to test it for operation. The wheels turn and the play ff and rewind buttons work. It doesn't have any of the cords except for the power cord. This would be a good one to get if you have one and need extra parts. The foam inside the case needs to be replaced. But the case in in good solid condition beside that. The recorder is in very good condition. But like I said I can't test so I am offering no warranty. It weighs a lot and is very large
Ampex 440b US $450

This 440b is currently a full track with extra electronics, cabling, and a headstack to convert to a 2 track.
The extra headstack I have currently has working erase and playback heads, but the record head only works on one side.
I contacted a company in Chicago, and found it would cost $200-$300 to replace the record head.
I find it very useful as a fulltrack, and it sounds amazingly good.
Everything functions as it should.

For sale is a great sounding Fostex r8 8 track multitrack reel to reel recorder.
It works perfectly and has been tested - all 8 tracks record and play. It's from my smoke free home studio. Heads have been regularly cleaned and demagnetized.
8 rca line ins and outs for maximum flexibility - record to any or all of the 8 tracks at once while playing other tracks. Bouncing tracks is easy with a mixer hooked up.
